Department of Agad Tantra Evum Vidhi Vaidyaka provides educational inputs to the second year undergraduate BAMS students in the subject of Agad Tantra Evum Vidhi Vaidyak. This department deals with medical ethic and laws, toxicology and forensic medicines. The department is fully equipped with various equipments, instruments, models, charts, specimens etc. All essential practical are carried out in this department. Tutorial room is fully reached with teaching learning facilities. Department having its own museum, where students learn the concept of Agad Tantra Evum Vidhi Vaidyaka, which is a discipline, overlapping with biology, chemistry, pharmacology and medicine that involve the substance on living organisms and the practice of diagnosing and treating exposures to toxins and toxicants.
The main objectives of this department are to produce and contribute in producing skilled legal medical practitioners and to bring law and medicine together for preparing medical students for their medical, legal and social duties in medical profession. To achieve this objective we have well established department with museum and fully fledged teaching and non-teaching staff.

Agad Tantra Evum Vidhi Vaidyaka is an integral part of ayurveda, which deals comprehensively about the study of characters and treatment of toxic substance of different sources and also study of accidental death, suicides, poisoning etc. in connection with forensic medicines. It also deals the study of various laws related to medical sciences and applications. Subject deals with various natural and artificial toxic substances and poisons in detail along with their antidotes, signs and symptoms and legal aspects of medical ethic and standards.
